Renovation Work for Dialysis Wastewater Treatment Neutralization Tank

Situation
The steel section of a neutralization tank used for dialysis wastewater treatment, a steel tank with internal PVC lining, corroded, causing water leakage.

Cause
The existing neutralization tank is protected by PVC on the surface that contacts wastewater, but it is assumed that the outside steel corroded and cracked due to long-term exposure.

Issue
The treatment room is inside a hospital, and the passage is narrow, so a tank of the same size as the existing neutralization tank cannot be carried in. If a steel tank is installed, the same phenomenon may occur and leakage may result, so a resin tank is desirable.

There are 4,500 dialysis treatment facilities nationwide, and neutralization tanks made of steel and FRP are installed in dialysis wastewater treatment tanks.
