Metering Pump (KP-2 Type)

This is an intermittent metering pump that takes in a fixed amount of liquid by opening and closing the valve, then discharges it using air pressure.

Connect the air piping to the air port on the main body, the supply side to the inlet, and the discharge side to the transfer port.

The unit has an internal check valve to help suppress backflow.

During operation, the cycle is repeated automatically as follows: the valve opens underwater and the inside fills with water → air is supplied and the water is discharged → the water seal at the small opening of the discharge line is temporarily broken, allowing air to escape and creating negative pressure inside → the unit takes in water again → the water seal is restored and discharge resumes.

The main body operates without electricity.

This unit requires air to be supplied from a separate air source, such as a blower or compressor.

The main parts are made of PVC, offering excellent corrosion resistance and chemical resistance.
